Camp Discovery

Camp Discovery engaged 50 campers this summer in a pilot GLOBE experience composed of multiple GLOBE Learning Activities and surface temperature measurement and water monitoring of a stream that flows through the camp. Equipment was provided to conduct the measurements along with materials and supplies for the Learning Activities. An assessment of the pilot will be made at the end of the summer and the activity continued into the school year where the camp typically reaches 3,000 pupils in grades 3 – 6.
