International High School at Largo

Largo, Maryland

Grant amount:

$685

The students at this school are active in the GLOBE Program and submitted a research report to the International Virtual Science Symposium in 2019. Their research was based on atmosphere data they collected, but the data record had significant gaps. This grant will supply a Davis Weather Station to provide a continuous data record to better support student research in the future. The station will be installed on the roof of the school. Data from the automated station will be reported to GLOBE.
