Salt Lake Center for Science Education

Grant amount:

$4,850

Salt Lake City, Utah

9-12th grade students at the Salt Lake Center for Science Education (SLCSE) will design and implement science research projects that will be presented at their End of Year SLCSE Science Symposium. This symposium will highlight students abilities to collect and analyze data related to real world problems that they care about. An earlier symposium, Down the Drain, gives students practice using research skills presenting data as they each investigate an element as it travels through our waterways and into the Great Salt Lake. YLACES funds will be used to support both symposia.
