$1,500

Tanzania

This grant will support a comprehensive environmental research project involving 100 students aged 12 to 18. The grant will fund scientific measurement equipment, field supplies, and transportation for fieldwork. Students will engage in hands-on research, investigating local water, soil, and air quality, and will share their findings through publicly available data-sharing platforms including GLOBE. Participant involvement and impact will be assessed through attendance logs, engagement records, surveys, focus groups, and academic performance evaluations, with detailed interim and final reports submitted to YLACES.
