Legacy Bridges STEM Academy, Inc. U.S Partner GLOBE - Legacy Bridges Global STEM Scholars Mentorship Program one-day local YLACES Student Research Symposium (SRS) brings together Academy of Notre Dame De Namur Students to share results from their school engagement research investigations and citizen environmental science projects sharing their ideas with Scientists, NASA Goddard Space Flight Centers SMD-Sci Activation Professionals to include the NASA ASTRO CAMP Community Education Team and receiving feedback on their research. Students/participants will benefit from the activity by engaging in Authentic research experiences that support contributing to the scientific and citizen environmental scientists community, learning from each other, and exploring pre-college and college STEM careers pathways that support their career goals.

About YLACES:

Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists assists and rewards the implementation of inquiry-based, experiential science education where students do science and contribute to the understanding of our environment through recognition and financial reward programs.

Grants range from equipment and supplies for taking environmental measurements to recognition and support for students presenting their research projects and working for pervasive inclusion of student research projects in science teaching.
