Suitland High School PGCPS

Maryland

Grant amount:

$1,300

Students at Suitland High School in Prince George’s County will employ air quality monitors (indoor and outdoor) to collect real-time data, analyze patterns, and propose ways to improve environmental conditions. Student research will be integrated into hands-on data collecting, analysis, and presentation about air quality in and around the school. Their findings will be disseminated via presentations at school events, digital platforms such as the school website, and collaborative discussions with the PGCPS Air Quality Professional Learning Community. The grant request is for two Kaiterra air monitoring devices – one indoor and one outdoor- both supported by a gateway for data sharing.
