Srednja škola Mate Blažine Labin

Croatia

Grant amount:

$1,395

In 1998, we joined the GLOBE program and from the very beginning of joining the GLOBE program, our group introduced measurements and observations in the field: atmosphere, water, soil and land cover. At the same time, we decided to pay special attention to student research projects dealing with the environment in order to encourage the social community to reflect on the importance of environmental protection. From 1999- to the present, we have published 33 student research papers, 19 in Student Research Reports on the Globe portal and 13 at the International Virtual Scientific Symposium. For our work, we received 2010. and 2023. globe star. During our many years of work, more than a thousand students have been directly involved in the GLOBE Program, and indirectly, all other students at our school.
