Youth In Action Against Poverty and HIV/AIDS

Tanzania

Grant amount:

$1,500

This grant will equip 100 secondary school students with scientific tools and mentorship to conduct hands on environmental research on water quality, soil health and climate patterns. With access to measurement instruments and expert guidance students will collect and analyze data, contributing their findings to the GLOBE data sharing platform. The project will culminate in a Student Research Symposium (SRS) where students will present their work, engage in peer to peer learning, and interact with STEM professionals. By fostering scientific inquiry and environmental stewardship, this project will empower students with the skills to address local environmental challenges and contribute to global research efforts.
