Our school requests support in acquiring essential scientific equipment to strengthen and expand our participation in the GLOBE Program. However, to fully implement GLOBE protocols at a higher scientific level, we require appropriate tools—particularly in weather monitoring and mosquito mapping for environmental health studies. 


The requested equipment will enable our students to conduct accurate and standardized environmental observations, participate more effectively in global data collection and submission, engage in climate change studies, and develop practical STEM and research skills.  Five hundred people (students and community) will be impacted by this project.

About YLACES:

Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists assists and rewards the implementation of inquiry-based, experiential science education where students do science and contribute to the understanding of our environment through recognition and financial reward programs.

Grants range from equipment and supplies for taking environmental measurements to recognition and support for students presenting their research projects and working for pervasive inclusion of student research projects in science teaching.
