GLOBE Program in Guatemala

Plan

At the request of the Latin America and Caribbean Regional Office of GLOBE, YLACES has provided equipment for 25 schools in Guatemala. Teachers from these schools are being trained in GLOBE at a workshop April 21, 2017. The training is in atmosphere and hydrosphere protocols and teachers will be provided with equipment for students to take measurements of air and water temperature, precipitation,  pH of precipitation and water, and relative humidity. This grant is helping launch the GLOBE Program in Guatemala.
