Bangladesh Globe Plus Post

Bangladesh is currently one of the highest affected countries by climate change. One school and one civil society organization in Dhaka will be involved in the GLOBE Plus Post organization. Maple Leaf International is one of the most highly acclaimed english language schools in Bangladesh while Green Savers is an environmental NGO that emphasizes clean air through the education of gardening. Both establishments will work towards making their city healthy, educated, food secure, and climate resilient. Maple Leaf International plans to collect and report data related to urban air, water quality, disaster management, and food safety.

About YLACES:

Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists assists and rewards the implementation of inquiry-based, experiential science education where students do science and contribute to the understanding of our environment through recognition and financial reward programs.

Grants range from equipment and supplies for taking environmental measurements to recognition and support for students presenting their research projects and working for pervasive inclusion of student research projects in science teaching.
