Did you miss our presentation at the North American Association for Environmental Education - NAAEE conference?

You can watch the conversation between Dixon Butler and YLACES grantees about student research projects and their connection to climate education here:

Dr. Butler, the founder and president of YLACES, spoke with Cynthia Madanski, from Hawkins STEMM Academy in Toledo, OH, and Roger Rose, from Alpena Middle School, in Alpena, AR.

The grant to Alpena Middle School, which was given in 2020, supplied equipment for five GLOBE atmosphere measurement sites to be monitored by students when they learned from home due to health concerns. Data is reported to GLOBE and analyzed by students as part of their research project. More about this grant can be learned here.
